Team Caplight beat Team Mainstreet, 107 - 95 in a FIBA style 3x3 basketball exhibition.
Team Caplight:
Bio: A top 5 all-time scorer at Colorado School of Mines, played in the NBA G-League for Cleveland’s affiliate team, has more than 7 years of experience playing professionally in Taiwan, Finland, Uruguay, and more. A machine learning engineer with a Masters from Columbia University, works for Corning Incorporated with a focus on manufacturing AI and data operations. Also does investment scout work for a sports tech family office.
Stats: game-high 44 points and game-high 10 threes made… Player of the game.
Bio: Played college ball for Air Force, South Dakota, and finished at Texas Tech. At Texas Tech, Matt and Jarrett Culver led Texas Tech to its first Final Four appearance ever, where Matt scored 22 points to beat Michigan State… He was named to the 2019 March Madness All-Tournament Team, went undrafted, and ended up playing in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers on a two-way contract and signing a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks. Bio: A BYU psychology graduate, a Utah State University MBA, and founder of Sola Athletics. Sola’s primary product is SoleGripz, a portable traction pod for basketball and volleyball athletes. SoleGripz is used by athletes in the NBA, NCAA, USA Pickleball, and more. The startup did $300,000+ in revenue last year and looks to generate multiples of that number in 2026. Plays pick-up basketball regularly.

Bio: A Harvard Economics graduate, Yonas did internships at Goldman Sachs in both Credit Research and Equity Research before joining Hines full-time as an investment analyst on their opportunistic closed-end real estate fund. He recently joined Columbia Ventures as an associate, where he does both real estate development and investment work. Former club basketball player at Harvard.

Bio: The exhibition game headliner, C.J. Watson was a former Tennessee basketball standout in the SEC, went undrafted, but ended up establishing himself in the NBA after getting signed to the Golden State Warriors in 2008. With the Warriors, he scored a career-high 40 points against the Sacramento Kings in 2010. He went on to play in the league for ten years, suiting up for the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets, Indiana Pacers, and Orlando Magic. Since retiring in 2018, he’s been active as an investor, startup advisor, bookwriter, and philanthropist. mainstreet hoop labs 001 was his first time stepping back onto the court since retirement, but no one could tell.
